Upcoming working bees

Working Bee A5 TITLE ONLY

Dear friends (and future friends),

Spring is here in all of its bloomin’ brilliance and it’s time to dig our hands deep into the soil in preparation for a bountiful harvest.

It’s been a year of change here at our little patch with the community ebbing and flowing, now growing with four new residents—Dash, Georgia, Rohan and Violette joining Beth and Dan. So we would all love to welcome you to Wurruk’an on the last weekend of every month for garden goodness and comradery.

We will be getting our hands into the garden from 9.30am onwards on Saturday, with plenty of other projects for those keen to build, cook or expend some cathartic energy chopping wood. Join us on Friday evening for an informal potluck and perhaps a film screening on the projector, and/or stay Saturday and enjoy a well-deserved night of good times by the campfire. Bring an instrument and join in or sit back and relax.

Food will be entirely vegetarian and as organic as we can manage. While we will make every attempt to accommodate everyone’s food needs, it can sometimes be difficult, so feel free to bring extra food along supplement the diet if you feel that it might be necessary.

Please RSVP to hellowurrukan@gmail.com as early as you can so we can plan to accommodate everyone. At this stage, our capacity is likely to be around 15 so please make sure you get in touch with the day/s and rough times you will be arriving, and we will send you the address and any further info.
